Dirks was fun to watch, not really good at one thing, but played the game with a ton of hustle. He energized the 2013 season post season run with a stolen base that changed a crucial September game to win the Central for the third year.
He missed all of 2014 with a back injury. With already a crowded outfield for 2015, Dirks is the first to go.
