I mentioned yesterday that Rick at my LCS called to tell me I had won the monthly raffle at his shop. Now let's get this straight, I never win. I never win random drawings, the lotto, staff luncheon door prizes, giveaways, bingo. Really the only thing I win at is all you can eat buffets. So when he called and said I was a "winner", I was ecstatic.
So I hurried in to the LCS today to collect my prize. There was a collection of items in a box: some huge football bobble-heads several t-shirts and hats from card manufacturers, posters, an Adrian Petersen bracelet; otherwise known as junk.
Rick knew I would just drop some cash on other items and hooked me in with the "prize". Now, I appreciate Rick's friendship and I know he's gotta get people in the door --- to keep the doors open, too.

So when I came home today, I saw Jeff over at 2x3 Heroes wrote a nice trade post we've been working on the last month, it made my day. Thanks Jeff.
